Incoming email delivery delayed for some users
October 7th, 2009 10:21 AM by BrianSome users have been experiencing email delivery delays due to a problem with one of our servers. We’ve resolved the problem, and the delayed email will be received as soon as the sending servers retry.
We’ll post an update to this website (HushmailStatus.com) as soon as more information is available.

Update: We have now determined that mail to users hosted on a particular email server was not being delivered between 8PM Pacific time on Tuesday and 10AM Pacific time on Wednesday. (That’s 4AM UTC to 5PM UTC on Wednesday.) Now that the mail is being accepted, most of that mail will go through successfully. There may be a few cases of other email systems that don’t retry mail that is more than 12 hours old. In those cases, the senders will get bounces telling them the mail could not be delivered.
