Hushmail Service Updates

Over the past week (January 3, 2008 to January 10, 2008), there have been intermittent issues on the Hushmail network. These problems have involved packet loss and high latency, and have periodically degraded service for our customers. To address these issues, we are upgrading our network infrastructure.

Infrastructure upgrades will progress from January 10, 2008 until January 13, 2008. There may be brief service outages during this time. We expect to be able to keep these outages to under one minute at a time, and they should occur outside of both North American and European business hours.

On Tuesday, January 8, 2008, an update was made to Hushmail. This update contained several upgrades related to internationalization, including improved support for right-to-left text, the ability to run a single Hushmail Business domain in multiple languages, and the propagation of language settings from Hushmail to Hushtools.

This update does not affect any email domains that run only English language settings.
